His 5th Degree Black Belt was not just an accolade but a result of rigorous training in one of the nation's most demanding martial arts programs, training under Master Nick Scrima, world-renowned Martial Artist and Promoter of the prestigious ICMAC (International Chinese Martial Arts Championship). 

Shifu Schmidt's expertise spans a vast array of Chinese Martial Arts styles, including Bei Shaolin Quan, Mizong Luohan, Ying Zhao Fanzi, Tai Chi Quan, Xing Yi Quan, Baji Quan, Tang Lang Quan, Bagua Zhang, and several other Northern styles.
